Moved to a much nicer area. One minor adjustment I need to make is that it's now 4km to the nearest supermarket... with 120m of climbing on the way back. It's steep and the A37 has crappy shoulders for riding on, specially uphill.
Google maps isn't very good at route finding here for bike or walk, the red line shows a path through a park that is much nicer than the busy roads and only slightly technically bicycles not allowed. OpenStreetMap finds it though.
I am not an all-weather biker. My lower limit has been 4° C for years, and I'm not changing.
I'm a little flexible on rain. If I ever get a second bike I might be more flexible.
