I am seeking a few groups for a final round of blind playtesting for my latest board game Hop Shot - a micro dexterity game for 2 players that plays in about 10 minutes inspired by the Japanese sport of pole toppling.

For those interested I am asking for $5 USD to help with shipping ($10 USD outside the US) as well as at least 3 plays of the game and 1 feedback form submission. The game is yours to keep.

Interessante Mechanik, kombiniert Wort-Assoziation und mit Code-Knacken, hab ich so noch nicht gesehen.
Habs auf Englisch gespielt, da fehlt mir teilweise der Wortschatz. Hat mich trotzdem überzeugt und nächstes Jahr kommt es auf Deutsch.

Linds and I finished our 2p campaign of #SleepingGods Distant Skies last night. We played it over 9 sessions. It was fun making decisions as a group on where to go and what to do. I also really liked the combat system though you do feel overpowered later in the game.

What I didnt care for was how it just sort of ended as well as how the endings worked. There are 6 different ones but they dont seem based on a lot of what you did during the game. We simply got ending 4 since I had played before instead of ending 1. I was hoping it would be more based on what decisions we made.

Regardless, I do think I will do it again solo sometime next year.

Last night's #boardgames included Shadow Hunters and Hare & Tortoise, both pretty familiar to me now. We had a new player, too, and it was the most fun I'd had with Shadow Hunters - 6 players just joking around within the structure of some rules. H&T continues to be fun, though I was very much the tortoise.
