🙏

The GrapheneOS project is taking significant steps to improve accessibility. I cannot comment on this implementation personally but the release mentions testing by blind and low vision users.

>This is a major update to the GrapheneOS fork of the TalkBack screen reader for blind and low vision users. We migrated it to the latest upstream release of the TalkBack source code which was in a completely broken and unusable state. We fixed many major and minor issues with the code which has now passed testing by multiple blind and low vision users who depend on it. We also removed the dependency on Google Play.

>The work to modernize our fork of TalkBack was started by a blind GrapheneOS user who has spent several years contributing to GrapheneOS and was completed by one of our newly hired app developers. It works well and is a huge improvement over the previous version despite the awful state of the upstream open source releases.

Most of the people reporting RCS no longer working were able to resolve it by enabling the ICC authentication toggle. It's likely the requirement to have it enabled was rolled out to more carriers. The remaining reports may all be non-GrapheneOS-related. https://grapheneos.org/us

Hey @ente I've recently signed up to the yearly 200gb plan, love the app so far. Two questions:

I have synced a self hosted Immich database (via Mac App) and my two phone's photo libaries (via the mobile apps) however it has uploaded three versions of every iOS photo; a live iOS moving version, then a standard photo, then a short video of the same live photo, for the Android photos thankfully it hasnt uploaded three versions of the same photo just one has synced as expected. Removing duplicates doesn't detect them, is there a way I can tidy these up without manually going through them (there's hundreds)

Second, on GrapheneOS I'm getting a DCL via memory error, I've had to set the exploit protection dynamic code loading via memory to enabled (default is disabled for everything else). Is this expected or something that can be fixed?

Neither are dealbreakers by the way, I love the app and service, just two observations I thought I'd ask about.

#Messagerie sécurisée pour #ordiphone
