This is a really valid concern imho. The #SciHub , #LibGen , and #AnnasArchive are really important for humanity. I'm sure there is now even more incentive for certain publishers to pour money into taking these archives down.

Was watching a video from @jadi and one of his sentences was too cool for me not to share. The talk was in Persian, and I translated and somewhat paraphrased:

> For digital freedom, protocols are more important than platforms.

To add to context, RSS is a protocol, any feed reader such as the good old Google Reader was a platform.

I have 4 apps from @fdroidorg that cannot get update and #Android throws this error. Is it related to app side-loading restrictions that Google planned to impose from Jan 2027?
