Hey @Tutanota! I recently signed up for an email address and I'm loving the service so far!

I noticed when using the desktop client on Linux that there is no locking functionality (like a pin, TOTP, or U2F) for locking the application after, for example, 5 minutes. Is this a feature that is already being developed? If not, what is the best way to submit this idea?

I love your service and the desktop client works great but I don't want to do a whole login&logout process every time I use it.

@protonprivacy imagine a whole market cornered and fumbling the bag because of some idiot at the helm. I'm very very likely to move away from Proton (a service I've paid into for YEARS) in the coming months if this attitude doesn't do a 180 *very* soon. I advise everyone using Proton to do the same. Vote with your wallet.

Not sure if this is already a thing but they really need to add `orientation` to display specs. The fact that I can't turn my monitor and have it automatically go into landscape or portrait based on position in 2026 is ridiculous. The display should be telling the host its orientation. The host should then decide how to display the image based on that. Its common sense, conceptually easy to understand. Why is this not a thing?
