ok, Open-Meteo to the rescue: https://open-meteo.com/en/docs/historical-forecast-api ... I think it needs a TUI.

today I uninstalled my Hive app, disconnected my Hive Hub and now manage my boiler and thermostat with Home Assistant over (zigbee2)MQTT. Couldn't be happier.
getting stuck on Nixos seems to be a Saturday theme.
In this installment I'm entirely at a loss on how to disable "tests" which fail with a false positive when building pyopenjtalk.
Have tried about 5 different things blindly and no success.
There's an upstream fix so just a case of waiting BUT it's so frustrating not being able to do something simple to fix it now.
refusing to review a PR because any or all of tests are failing, CS is broken, SA has errored, or co-pilot found some things is really counter productive. just saying.
God damn it. I updated my nixos on my home server yesterday, I'm including hive assistant and now I'm cold and my voice assistant doesn't work.
weather: I feel like finding out which direction the wind was blowing last night shouldn't be that hard.
in unrelated news: Pantheon was an exceptionally good series to watch.
CS: defferring: "2026, global Personal Access Tokens (PATs) in Azure DevOps are retired. To keep publishing (vscode) extensions, use secure automated publishing with Microsoft Entra ID instead of PATs" for the nth time.
.. and nothing is made at all easier by having to run corporate hardware.
jesus. it's 17:52 and I've been on this since 08:00 😢
wonder how many other PHP devs are sitting in a group call waiting for 14:00 UTC
uk thermostats Show content
uk protip: don't buy a Hive smart thermostat - they're shit:
- The thermostat is batterty-powered, doesn't have an e-ink display and you need to touch it to see what the temp is.
- The app is 90% upselling and 10% functionality.
The "show 57 hidden comments" "feature" is yet another "interesting" UX decision by github.
tfl when you learn the ubiquitous `config` function that's used to GET configuration throughout the entire app can be used to OVERWRITE THE ENTIRE CONFIGURATION if you pass an array as `$key`
🥺
edit: ok, it will _merge_ the array with the config. but still.
