also noticing that the CA private key == 4 vuln and the PHP vuln are not related to each other at all. the PHP vuln dropped second, at a time when infosec workers were already scrambling to fix something else.
I am 100% a conspiracy theorist and an idiot and you should not believe anything i say. But i say something seems off.
This whole PHP vuln thing is a bit fishy. There are no known actual exploitations of the vulnerability in the wild, despite the purported ease with which AI coding tools can exploit it. Its existence was disclosed by a video posted to social media that has since been deleted. And it's happening at a time when a selloff of AI infrastructure company stock is beginning to accellerate. Meanwhile some of the "tech journalists" reporting on this seemingly just learned what PHP is.
