More importantly, Logseq is a graph structure so there are no folders to group notes into, just nodes (text files) and relations between them. Still data is in markdown files in a filesystem which is a tree structure, not a graph. The Logseq team is now working on a real graph model using a database.
First Logseq is an outliner. Instead of headings it uses indendation to create a tree structure of paragraphs. The funny thing is that I've used indendation levels in normal text editors for decades so this was a good fit for me.
I do all my note taking in future proof text format and used Nextcloud Notes for some years. Then I tried Obsidian in combination with Syncthing which made things more organized. Obsidian however is not FOSS so I found Logseq to which I've migrated all my Nextcloud Notes to.
