John Mercouris, the author of Nyxt, disappeared from the internet the moment Nyxt 4 was announced.

Today he appeared again announcing a Common Lisp binding to CEF, cl-cef, as well as a new web engine, closure.

Both vibe coded.

> Nyxt 5 is going to be something quite DIFFERENT

He used to have such high quality standards...

Has anyone tried to estimate the number of active Guix System users? And Guix Home? And Guix as a package manager?

I have a feeling it's a quite small distro, but I have no idea what to say when people ask.

I used to love looking at the source code when I saw a cool looking project. These days I just assume it is slop and get a bad taste in my mouth. I miss the pre LLM days.
