I've been trying out BookOrbit, a self-hosted library for ebooks, PDFs, comics, and audiobooks that runs with Docker and PostgreSQL. It's AGPL-3.0 with browser readers built in, and it can hook into OPDS readers, Kobo sync, and KOReader. I wrote up my Docker Compose setup pinned to v3.1.0 along with a hardlink gotcha I hit with Book Dock.

Cameron Knauff's RHEL clone breakdown, as of July 2025: Rocky Linux is the only bug-for-bug rebuild, AlmaLinux and Oracle Linux are binary compatible, and CentOS Stream sits upstream with a 5-year life cycle. AlmaLinux 10 shipped 7 days after RHEL 10, Rocky 10 took 23, and Oracle 10 took 47. AlmaLinux 10 also has an x86_64_v2 repo for older CPUs that RHEL 10 dropped.
