In the end, we’ll realize that none of this is about the dangers of AGI or the trail being blazed towards a “bright technocratic future.” This is all about insecure little boys worried that the rest of the world will catch up to their grift.
It’s going to get really bad when people wake up and discover that every single big tech firm is broke and our economy is being propped up on the farts of oligarchs.
We’re expected to ignore big numbers being thrown around like billions, and trillions, as those numbers are passed around big tech firms so quickly we’ve lost track.
It was not possible to have Enron without banks and investors. Just remember that.
