It is interesting how many of us are assuming that someone else is going to do their job well. At work I have to do a physical every 5 years. I had to do one today. I went to the office to pick up the document that my company issues that describes the params of the physical that I need to satisfy. I pick that up, go to the medical center only to find out that the document is not properly signed by my employer so basically I cannot go through my physical. Now I need to go to the office again, pick up a new document and do it all over again. And it does not even involve any kind of private keys or fancy ceremonies. Why do we assume some CA authority would be different?

Got a message from a recruiter on Linkedin saying I am an interesting candidate for a job of Project Manager in Sales Enablement. Never have I worked in Sales Enablement and my last Project Manager job title is from 15 years ago. Asked said recruiter why they thought I would be good for the job. Really curious what they will answer
