My mom is back at home and doing well, and I was well-caffeinated today.
I would like to rain down all the blessings on the barista at Peet's who, after I'd been at the ER until 2am with my mom, gotten an escalation call shortly after 4am, and was headed back to the ER to see my mom at 7am, said to me "oh oops, I accidentally made your drink a large instead of a medium". If I'd been more awake I would have asked for a large in the first place.
