Man I look fucking garbage. But I'm maximum repping the Bs.
Absolutely delicious goal, Pavel Zacha! (daddy Zacha lol)
I'm watching a Canadian stream of the Bruins game.
Whoa.
Mustaches, Tim Hortons, Wendy's making Canadian Beef, Dairy, and Canadian Potatoes, some weird pizza brand with a mustached dude like Mario named Giuseppe lol
As a not-newbie: the HTB module on Incident Handling is pretty okay.
Triage
Mapping to MITRE
Correlation (very, very, surface level and can be skipped if you're just breezing through)
Case management
Not bad, gotta say. I wish this shit existed when I started.
Is it legal to host a honeypot on your residential fiber line?
Asking for a friend.
Also asking for another mildly informed friend, does hosting a honeypot on an obviously residential IP just mean I'm going to get rando scan activity and drivebys only and nothing interesting to me?
I'll stop complaining about ignorance and redundancies when I stop being threatened with homelessness while dudes are on TV talking about the PHP vuln(s) having said "I didn't know what php was until yesterday." (BBC "Journalist" specializing in security news? ROFL)
While people like this have jobs I wonder, "maybe I don't deserve food and a roof over my head."
Then get to the bottom and it's 3 days in-office.
Lol...you're a global company that wants cloud engineers. The fuck do I need to be in an office for?
Uhhh, how about I don't introduce massive amounts of risk into my environment? HOW THE FUCK ABOUT THAT?
It's crushing me how hard it is to job hunt in my niche bullshit skillsets without hitting AI somewhere.
It's literally fucking near impossible.
My options are, and have been, "starve/die or adopt AI."
I'm going to pick up falconry, for hunting reasons.
I haven't hunted a live animal in roughly 10+ years and I'll probably keep it that way.
Take from this what you will, but some things I feel will need to be hunted very soon and falcons are quite adept at knocking shit out of the sky.

Califphp2shell by Calif ResearchA tale of two PHP remote vulnerabilities
I'm behind and catching up on it all, but seeing this just made me laugh aloud at the size of impact:
"We confirmed pre-auth RCE on the following PHP apps as well as arbitrary PHP scripts in some instances.
- WordPress 7.1.2
- Drupal 11.4.3
- Joomla 6.1.4
- MediaWiki 1.46.2
- Roundcube 1.7.4
- Magento 2.4.9
- phpMyAdmin 5.2.3
- Nextcloud 35.0.1
- Laravel 13.11
- Symfony 8.1
- WHMCS"
Anyone hiring?
I don't even care what it is anymore. I'll work it to the best of my ability regardless of what it is. I just want to live.
Compliance readiness?
Vulnerability management?
Just plain-old IT?
All of it? I've done most of it.
I just also enjoy affording food, a roof over my head, and not feeling like my life is a step away from homelessness at all times. I don't ask for much.
Bucket list item checked off:
Dave Chappelle live.
Absolute perfection and I'm going to treasure that memory for a long time.
There's truly no words in me to describe the joy I had cackling, the moment he said, "So I know Charlie Kirk is from here..."
I swear to god Dave heard me laughing before anyone else. So many chuds there don't know who Dave Chappelle is and it was obvious.
Bill Bellamy showed up, Hannibal Burress, Andrew Santino, and it was a fucking blast. Way different vibe than any other set I've ever seen in my life. No notes lol
