What worked for me:
Get rid of cached files:
rm /var/lib/apt/lists/*
Update /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources changing the URIs parameter for the updates channel to a mirror. So I went for:
URIs: https://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
Then the usual apt update && apt upgrade
Has anyone got #php2shell updates installed on Ubuntu? I thought I had but now the installed package version doesn't match the one listed on https://ubuntu.com/security/notices/USN-8948-1
