Why stop there? Also adding US highways, Amtrak routes/stations, and counties, all togglable layers.
Finally came across from FastSM to FastSMRW and wow my fan is running a lot less. I knew it would be better, and glad it has matured to the point where it just works great.

Well I now have major cities and interstate highways on the scrollable Dot Pad U.S. Atlas. Really cool to see how some of the highways in my state run and where they curve and meet up.
I have credits to burn in the next 12 hours. What should I do? Open to interesting one-shot prompts especially, small goofy ideas?*
* No guarantee I will take your idea.
There was a time, not even 10 years ago, where I would research every partisan race on the ballot to make my decision. Not any more, and not until a lot changes. At least voting straight party makes it quicker to vote since I just have the judges, school board, and proposals left.
Through all that, grateful for the right to an accessible ballot and to the Kalamazoo city poll workers who have always known what to do,, and for early voting and same-day registration, which Michiganders voted into the constitution a few years ago.

Wow!
Gottschalk: Grande Tarantelle, Op. 67 (Espadero's solo-piano arrangement)
This person taught Claude to understand braille music from a .BRF file and convert it to midi. It makes sense since I'm sure the braille music code is available to find, but still it's the type of thing that would not have been possible a year ago. The source is here. Could be another cool way to create music.

Weirdly once you call it out, you get a very usable and capable documents. Maybe I need to add this one to my custom instructions.
My latest AI annoyance is it trying to tell me everything not to do, like it has to be an exhaustive warning. I would suggest pizza. I would not suggest chicken, sandwiches, or other items that are not pizza. I have to ask for rewrites for issues and other docs all the time.
Has anyone gotten approved for Claude's open source grants? Seems like it could be an interesting way to get some credits.
Is Sam Taylor on Masto or has anyone played with Scanbox? It seems like a good start for a lot of things, and I've done a few tiny changes to make camera OCR much better - higher resolution, auto rotation, etc. Perhaps there are better free Windows options out there, keeping the goal being local OCR and fast. Tessarack is not very fast last I knew

A sizeable portion of users seem to still believe we still suffer from a lot of made up and hallucinated reports by these AIs. We really don’t.
Almost all the stupidity and lies we saw in the vulnerability reports made by AIs in the past have ceased. Since spring 2026 the slop reports are practically gone. Our current challenge is much harder: high volume, high quality.
AI talks too much

I'm with you, so I guess I'm on this NVDA for awhile, though I bet there is a way to bring that feature in via an addon?
A bit disappointed it didn't make it into the Final 2026.3 RC, so beta-2 it is I stick with, until I see that one get a proper look in a future version. "• Reverted bug fix to terminals, meaning NVDA may freeze again when substantial amounts of text are dumped to the screen. This

Not sure what about it isn't working correctly, compared to the latest beSorry the NVDA Bleeding Edge addons page was broken for a week:
A broken 7GB repo which was not even an addon was crashing the page. Made the update script more flexible for things like this and we're back to normal.
