Ok, I have a business card and want to make that into a n entry in my iOS Contacts. What do I do?
⁃ I tried Siri Intelligence. It recognizes all fields from the card, offers asking ChatGPT and searching various services, I can call the nuber, mail, navigate to the address... But I can't add a contact card?
⁃ I made a photo. It intelligently recognized all fields, too, bit no contacts.
⁃ The Plus-Button in the Contacs app has no AI or photo mode but is just the form editor.

Note, I’m in the EU. Maybe the new Siri can do that? Or did I overlook something? This should be possible in the EU, too!

OK, Waschbär, du willst also Krieg.

I don't believe for a second that the AI bubble doesn't burst until 2030. There *has* to be some very big orders that burst due to over-speculation. And if the large orders in the books are worthless, prices fall again, right? Or not?

Is there anything that's good to prop up an unfolded iPhone Duo, except for Apples weird and too expensive Folio case? Like a ring that's made for it? Ideally it has or allows MagSafe charging, because the USB-C port is on the bottom in this setup. Any tips?

(And yes, I know that people cut the folio case. I won't do that. Thanks)

This should be standard on the iPad. Outer display: I like the small screen a lot, but the apps need to be ready for that. If they don't use the side space, but top/bottom they are too small. Why do I have to decide which phone a watch is belonging to, why can't it auto-switch? Well if they fix that, it’ll probably be for watchOS 28, which many don't have. Eigentor is the german word for that, I guess... Overall: It's a portable iPad, not a large phone. If you want a phone, get an iPhone. If you miss an iPad on the go, get the Duo. It’s good, but you need to want it.

Or you're a developer, there's so much that's different, that it's an essential buy. You need to see the device, its many modes and other apps to see what's working and what isn’t. Simulator doesnt really cut it here. (2/2)

„Cybersicherheitsvorfall" Email von HostEurope, obwohl ich da schon seit einiger Zeit kein Kunde mehr bin... Na und wann haben die eigentlich ihr Logo so geändert, dass es sich als „I-lost Europe" liest?

That’s the normal App Store experience

I’m at my wits’ end… My silly app went viral but still stuck in App Review, first rejection the reviewer couldn’t find my IAP, then it’s because I had the word “Duo” in the description, then it’s because StoreKit returned no products during review (?). And of course it takes 2 to

Oh new mini is out. Wasn’t the rumrs $79 starting price? It's $699, so that’s a welcome surprise, or am I wrong? Otherwise, OLED, Splash resistance, thinner, lighter, faster.
Anyways too expensive for a wall dashboard :-( But cheaper/old iPads are still available :-)

Also: I think iPads should get the Duos superior Multitasking with iPadOS 28, especially the Mini.

However, Wallflower 3.2 is waiting for App Store Review right now. That's a big release with tons of new stuff. I won't pull it from the queue right now, because Apples reviews these days can take weeks.

The clock fix will be in 3.2.1 which I will submit the minute 3.2 is live.

But that will, hopefully, be before summer time starts again. Even with Apples current review times…

Also Reddit: Mostly silence, but a „Why is this requiring iOS 26+“ comment.

So, we're among ourselves here right, so I can let it lose, right? I do not have to answer politely? Ok.

Dear commenter: The audience is developers, there is hopefully not a single person who does this seriously who is stuck with iOS 18. The iPhone 11 from 2019 supports it! And this is a developer subreddit, you are a developer, how do you not know that? Should I really build and test for a pre-liquid-glass UI for a user that doesn't exist? Or is your self important comment just meant to make you look like you care? For an audience that claps on behalf of a fictional user, that does in reality not exist AT ALL?

Thanks for coming to my TED talk

Ich war im Podcast! Viel über Smart Home, Apple Konferenzen und das App Ecosystem geredet. Hat Spaß gemacht, danke an @nico42!

Und die App über die ich da rede (You Get A Code) ich auch inzwischen draussen, also wenn du die Episode schon mal gehört hast, und die App nicht gefunden hast, dann hier entlang:
