If you have ever felt, "I don't have enough!" you are probably right. That is the point. It is also the opportunity.

Here is the math equation for today:

What I have + What Jesus has = enough

It is actually MORE than enough.

The amazing thing though is that He wants us to participate in the "making of the enough." Join me for 7 minutes to see if you are ready. If "you don't have enough", you probably are.

We have a wonderful outdoor summer music pavilion nearby. If you load up the seats and the lawn, you get about as many people in our story today. (15,000!) There is only one problem: nobody remembered to bring dinner.

Join me as we hear the challenge of Jesus to the disciples: What resources do you have to bring to bear on this situation? Their first answer must have been: "We don't have anything." Listen for just 7 minutes and see if this is true.

There is something that just doesn't quite fit right about death. There is a reason for that.

The shoes of death don't quite fit. The reason is that those shoes were NEVER MEANT to fit. We aren't suited for death. We aren't built for it. And yet here we are in a world and a body of decay.

Spend 7 minutes of your precious time to explore with me why the shoe of death don't fit and what God is doing about it on our behalf. Re-post with another minute of your time.

The French have a saying appropriate to this podcast that translates, "It is FORBIDDEN to FORBID." They are apparently not big fans of rules. Neither was our anti-hero Herod.

When confronted with something that should have been forbidden; something he should not have been doing, he does what anyone would with unlimited power: He cut the guy's head off. Literally. Then served it on a platter to a teenager.

We might hazard a question then: Can what is forbidden be forgiven? Tell me if you think we make it to this answer.
