Sunset over the Sea of Cortez. It's easy, even on vacation, to miss the sunsets.

There's a principle here somewhere ...

I suspect the most difficult thing in software development has become containing scope creep and curating high quality (i.e., useful, interesting, simple) applications. As development time approaches zero, scope creep approaches infinity (and containing quality becomes approaches ludicrous).

I built settings for this app in the old top-tab style, then outgrew it. At least I only wasted a few hours.

My peak laziness at work: I get Claude to send questions to my sidebar #todo tool so I don't lose track of them, and so I can answer them with minimal effort.
