Ugh. The rabbit hole goes deep. Now that I have three machines connected and the LG's remote being flaky, switching inputs of a monitor, a BT keyboard and a BT mouse is getting painful.

I thought I could make the input selection follow the keyboard, but DDC is not supported by my monitor. So I thought, an IR blaster might do the trick.

I have a ESP32 sitting around from when I thought I'd turn the Disk Drive slot on my Mac Plus into an LCD info panel, but i've now mounted a USB/SD Card Reader hub in that space.

So now looking at building at an IR Blaster accepting HTTP posts to switch the monitor and each computer sends the command when the keyboard connects to it.

The #Mac Studio Plus keyboard story is coming together. Bought a Vortex clone of the M0110 and a donor Magic Keyboard for Touch ID. I will add a 3D printed Apple Logo to the Vortex, like found on the left side of the original M0110 and then in the matching position on the right, install the TouchID key.

And I need to get a new keycap for Caps Lock and remap it to Control, since neither the original nor clone had it.

Embossed Apple Logo from the original M0110 Macintosh keyboardPhoto of Mac Studio next to its future case, a Macintosh Plus. In front of the two machines from left to right are a Magic Keyboard which will donate its TouchID sensor to be installed in the Vortex M0110 Mechanical keyboard sitting next to it.
