Though I can't help thinking that making flu vaccine free on the NHS for people under 65 would be more effective.

Oh, and is flu the only vaccine that will protect against respiratory infection this winter? I can't help thinking there's another one that maybe they could have mentioned.

I'm at the hospital right now for an outpatient appointment (don't worry, nothing serious). Even though I had my covid jab a little over 2 weeks ago and my flu jab a couple of weeks before that and am probably maximally protected round about now, it just seems like basic common decency to wear a mask.

I am so far the only person I have seen, patient or staff, doing so.

WTF is wrong with people? It's a hospital, FFS.
