We got accepted to Anthropic OSS Scanner: https://github.com/anthropics/oss-scanner/pull/342

The first review already received - there are no critical findings!

We will publish an update soon.

@ck0 Please clarify which statements are wrong, specifically, and why they are wrong? We believe they are all factual and correct, but happy to comment on specifics.

@atro_city It's been like that from day one in 2021, why "now"?

What changed now is that users can invest too.

@ill_logic App Store and Play Store report the number of monthly and daily active users - it's 450,000 in that number. September growth here is 22%.

The rest is an estimate based on downloads.

SimpleX Chat has grown to over 600,000+ users!

More than 70% in the last 6 months and 20x since the 2023 investment round.

SimpleX is the only messaging network without user identifiers - which means that nobody can reach you unless you want it, and nobody can watch or block your private conversations.

You can now invest in SimpleX Chat and own a part of it - watch our new explainer video on Wefunder.

@friendlychemist how using generative AI to promote things is any worse than using live actors? Please elaborate what it is the problem.

It saves ton of resources, and allows to communicate things simpler and faster.

@dashdsrdash @foolishowl @tuneintodetuned we're not giving any "lifetime" promises exactly for that reason :)

@foolishowl @tuneintodetuned how one is related to another? And how can we technically sell data we don't have by design?

How producing videos with AI is worse than producing videos with real people?

@tuneintodetuned can you please explain what do you mean by "how"?

You were born without an account.

Nobody tracked your conversations.

Privacy was never a feature - it was the way of life.

SimpleX brings it back - the only messaging network without any user identifiers.
