Just learned that an ex-friend's ex-partner died back in July from breast cancer. We hadn't spoken in years, but it's still left me a bit verklempt. She was a good person and 10 years younger than me. This sucks.
The Hank Gresn games--4×3 and Smush--have been fun to play. I do cheat at Smush, I'll admit, but only to get the 9-letter word. I suck at unscrambling words that big, so I give myself that.
It was another sunny day, albeit cooler. And breezy. Leaves were blowing all over the place. Most of the trees are pretty bare now. The ones that aren't stand out.
