I suspect part of the reason neurotypicals and neurodivergent people often struggle to understand each other, is that the neurotypicals often don't know what they're doing. They're running on gas fumes. They don't have some sort of pan-nomos that governs expectations over all life.

📢👉🏼They haven't thought about any of it at all, ever.👈🏼📢

37 species of birds across five European countries are more scared of women than men!

"Birds living in cities appear to react differently to men and women, and scientists are struggling to explain why. An international research team discovered that urban birds, including great tits, house sparrows, and blackbirds, tend to fly away sooner when approached by women than by men. The surprising behavior raises new questions about how birds perceive the people around them."

Look, fundamentally, the artforms I mastered were about understanding the ways that loved ones might be tricked if they were distracted or unwary. I witnessed the "skeptic" movement be overtaken in much the same way as the "FOSS" community is being overtaken. By folks with no empathy, compassion, or commitment to the projects.

It's a familiar pattern.

For those who don’t know, a leaked 2025 research project by US firm Stagwell Global (which was commissioned by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs), concluded that the fear-of-radical-Islam "frames" outperformed other tested approaches for shifting Western opinion away from the reputational damage Israel is bringing upon itself by conducting genocide in Gaza.

Shout out to all the late Gen X, grunge generation who spent more time and money than they'd like to admit looking as though they hadn't carefully thought about the way they dressed. It was a calculated look.

Those ripped jeans? "Well yeah but they are original vintage Levis from the 1970s that cost mum like, £200, and the patch in them was cut out of a real Medieval tapestry, 'cos we're so nihilistic and just fuck everyone, yeah?".

But perhaps I imagined it all. 😉

If anyone has been wondering about my increasingly erratic posting, it's because my best friend of 20-odd years is dying before my eyes.

It's gone from Stage 1, to metastatic, to failing to respond to various treatments, to multiple rounds of chemo, to now being terminal. There's no hope.

So ya know, there's that... 🤬

I'm reminded of the time I replied to a salesman "I don't buy at the door" and he replied, "Oh no worries, so is this the living room just through here then?" so I slammed the heavy oak door so hard on his face that three of his colleagues started pretending to phone the police.

It's bluff. Ignore. 🤷🏻‍♂️
