I think that companies doing mass layoffs should have to do an environmental assessment on the consequences of this action and be fined according to their overall asset valuation.

My first paper went well today. Unlike my classmates, my professor was literally like "I don't have any notes to give you beyond small grammar I'm not too concerned about, you did a good job" and then started telling me specific things he really liked like the amount of detailed examples I gave.

I finished writing the paper, with his approval over the final two paragraphs, by like halfway through class and just kind of sat around making finicky edits to kill time while he helped the other two students who were still working on their papers.
