Just saw an ad for our (New Zealand) National party. Our in-power, business/oil party. It opens by attacking the opposition. Then talks about how they're only half done you wouldn't leave a job half done (re their one term in govt.).
It's a farm scene and the themes go on about being pro small business etc. But the whole thing; voice-over visuals; is all AI. They didn't even bother to actually make their own point and help a small business, they just paid Anthropic. The irony is lost on their voter base.
I dont understand the people that would find that appealing?
