needed 2 make an appointment in the citizens office but ofc the form blocks u (or ur pw manager) from pasting in the email field
i could have just typed it out but out of principle i wasted an hour tryin 2 find out whats blocking it and then finding a way around that bc fuck u how dare u
so the paste blocking was done by checking if the input field changed by more than one character
so xistin xtensions didnt fix it since they only bypass paste event blocking scripts which the site in question never did
it just rejects inputs that are more than one char at a time
i solved it via hammerspoon since i already had that
hahahahah it get even better
apart from the absolutely nightmare of an ui the site has
(it took me abt 10 mins 2 figure out how 2 even work the fucking forms 2 get what i needed, how can fucking ordinary non terminally online ppl navigate this garbage???)
the confirmation email i got was marked by protonmail as a possible phishing attempt due 2 failing domain authentication which ive never seen b4 lmao
its gotta b a law that any official government infra has 2 b terribly inefficient, cumbersome and mildly infuriating in every aspect
