Conversation

The fact that I was homeschooled makes this just a natural state of being. I've never felt like I needed an official teacher to learn about most things.

It just means I have gaps in my skills and knowledge, and I'm not always sure what those gaps are or how they compare to my "peers" in whatever space I'm working in.

The advantage, of course as it is with outsider artists, is that I always have a totally fresh perspective, and can see through bullshit that everyone else might take for granted. I draw my own conclusions and make my own connections. That means I often have insights that the establishment misses.
