"Someday" project inching closer to reality: get Firefox running as well as possible on decade-old budget hardware.
In this case it's a 2015 Dell laptop with a 2-core Celeron N3050 processor. Shipped with 2 gigs RAM, but I upgraded it to 8 before the RAM shortage hit.
Currently running Lubuntu but given the Linux kernel situation, strongly considering switching to NetBSD.
