Going through Central Saint Martins Foundation in Art and Design book, there is an exercise that explores the boundaries of taste. You are supposed to identify something that you consider bad taste and then make a work that embraces it.

My first thought, I am going to have to try really hard to outdo television.

Seriously though, what is bad taste in art? If it's real art then how can it be bad taste? Maybe it's not MY taste but still. Ok, Kitsch – I do not dig Kitsch at all. So, now I need to make something that embraces it. Bullocks.
