Just heard about the new Boox Picco...which runs (non-Android) Linux! This is exciting 🤩
(They violate GPL and all so they're not a great company in that sense but this device is one that I'll consider purchasing at some point; since it's proper Linux it should be hackable)
The Official BOOX StoreBOOX PiccoBOOX Picco is a card-sized ePaper device with front light, physical buttons, and touch, ideal for short reads instead of idle scrolling. Picco lets you fine-tune fonts, spacing, and margins, and it opens EPUB, MOBI, AZW3, and other popular ebook formats via the BOOX Tiles app. With the magnetic case, Picco attaches to the back of your phone for reading on the go.
