#Xfce is great for a point-and-click experience. Some 10 years ago Xfce and #Lxde used to be head-to-head for being the most leight weight. I hear Xfce has become quite the resource hog in recent years.
Nowadays #Mate seems to be a better fit for a light-weight point-and-click UX.
I used to daily drive Lxde for a couple of years around the mid 2010s. For a desktop environment offering the same UX, I found it too dependent on tinkering with config files.
