I still find it odd when folks here talk about (or boast about) their follower count. If you're here in the Fediverse for influence and numbers, you're going to be severely disappointed.
Be yourself. Your voice and content will find its audience. The size of that audience is entirely irrelevant.
But your being here at all? That's something special.
