My sister had some coffee spilled on her laptop. A local repair shop got it working for about $100.
She bought a macbook and said I could keep it.
I scored myself a laptop with pretty decent specs.

I have a better laptop I use for work, but this can be a good "beater" laptop so I don't risk my main laptop to theft or accidents when I'm just messing around.
So far, it has been running great on Fedora Plasma.
