Some vendors could not do business with families using Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program after a reported cyberattack, according to state Sen. Shawnna Bolick. The program lets families use public education funds for tuition, tutoring, curricula and supplies.
Whether transactions have fully resumed remains unclear, as does the number of affected vendors and families. The affected operator and attack method remain unidentified, and possible student-data exposure is unresolved.
