I just wrote the biggest bodge to get an embedded bootloader load an Android version it was never meant to load and it involved duplicating the partition table into the blank space of the partition Android normally uses to pass messages between itself, the bootloader and the recovery partition.
And it works.
Which makes me both proud and scared.
