I see a lot of AI hate and like, I get it if you're a copyright fan. Personally, I don't mind it.
Personal opinion is that a lot of the environmental disasterism is blown out of proportion. Energy companies are always looking for reasons to push prices higher, but due to their pricing models they need ✨️reasons✨️ to do so. We need greener energy solutions and unfortunately our current short-sighted administration just doesn't value our planet.
Seems like it's here to stay and it's either adapt or let it happen to you. Co-workers are saying that this feels like the next technology shift that hasn't been felt since early internet days. AI in a year isn't gonna look or feel like AI in 3 years or 5 years. The infrastructure backing AI sure as heck ain't gonna look like it does now either.
