Hey #Linux folks using laptops. I have installed #debian on an Apple MacBook circa 2015. When this thing ran MacOS, I could close the lid with a full battery and it would stay suspended for days at a time. Now that I'm running Linux on it, it runs the battery down in hours (less than 24) when I suspend.
What's the trick? I'm using KDE Plasma, if that matters.
Please don't give any suggestions that:
- Suggest a different Linux distro. I'm not interested.
- Suggest not using KDE. That's not the question.
- Recommend something you've never tried on Debian/Ubuntu or one of those variants.
