I like this guy's videos, and I share his delight at big tech getting pantsed by vide-coded copies of proprietary software. This will change software forever.
If LLM prices stay artificially low.
But they won't.

LLM prices will SKYROCKET once the venture capital money runs out and the industry has to turn a profit. AFAICT self-hosted LLMs won't be able to do this work either, so reverse-engineered versions of proprietary software won't be *free* in that environment.
