This pisses me off: we're giving 40M to an ally under attack is not news when we have increased the budget we spend on teaching kids how to kill by at least three orders of magnitude more. (those kids are probably going to sit on their asses doing drugs, or help commit a genocide in some middle eastern country. They're definitely not going to Ukraine to kick the russians out, or to palestine to defend human rights)
If we stop war, through sanctions, and by giving serious support to our allies, and people being exterminated, we don't need to keep a ridiculously big army around with young people set up to be the killers of the future eh?
