2:2 Her transplant went well, the kidney was functioning as it should. Somewhere in this she acquired a C.diff infection and it got into her blood stream, plus she had a bleeding problem with veins in the vicinity of the kidney that were failing, the kidney started failing, it was removed, and they were not able to save her. Yes, 12/24h of dialysis daily sucks, but a transplant is a role of the dice. Consider this informational, I’d only do a transplant if I’d die otherwise. 🤔😔
