LaunchpadBug #2172370 “HP OMEN Gaming Laptop 16-ap0xxx (board 8E35): inte...” : Bugs : linux package : Ubuntu[Impact]
On the HP OMEN Gaming Laptop 16-ap0xxx (DMI board 8E35, BIOS F.13) the
internal digital microphone array does not appear at all with the Ubuntu
26.04 kernel (7.0.0-42-generic). Only the headset-jack input is offered,
so the laptop has no built-in mic for calls or dictation.
The audio coprocessor is AMD ACP 1022:15e2 revision 0x62 (RPL). With the
stock kernel it is claimed by snd_rpl_pci
