As written, English Wikipedia's policies are actually quite supportive of adding red links in some appropriate cases, and I believe that this was appropriate, but someone believed that it was not, and deleted it. I checked the written policy and found that its text is kind of confusing, so I started a discussion with the intention of making it clearer.

And what do you know, someone quickly clarified the policy.

So I re-added the red link to the airport, and made sure to mention other existing articles in the disambiguation entry.

I should write a proper article about the airport someday.
