I realized that this October I somehow hadn't done a single Charles Band-produced film despite my love of Full Moon and Empire. So I'm making up for it by finally watching one of the few films I've never seen by one of my favorite directors: Stuart Gordon's Dolls.

Idk why I've never seene this oone, sometimes things just slip through the cracks.

Three Kings

I watched this when it came out, and remembered some scenes.

I think I barely got 15 minutes into the movie before giving up on it. The humor was crass, and the audience was also supposed to laugh at civilians being terrorized by guys with guns.

If you get a chance to see You Can See Everything, absolutely take it. My friends and I went to see it and it was so funny, strange, oddly emotional, infuriating at times that it didn't feel like you were watching a 3 hour long documentary made by the king of cringe comedy. Just really excellent. Left me with oddly complicated feelings about Elizabeth Holmes, a pure white hot hatred of her husband, and marveling at the way Nathan Fielder can use his own neurodivergence to tell tales about the human experience and how we all kind of play roles in life, day to day.

letterboxd.comA ★★★½ review of Eternals (2021)Pacing Issues: The Movie What’s here, while disjointed, is pretty good and enjoyable, actually. Of all of the projects to have been made a show, this one actually would’ve benefitted greatly from that. I really hope we see these characters again.
