Me, reading a toot that uses a word in an unfamiliar way: Typo. No, wait. This person is an expert in their field so maybe that’s a reserved word in their profession. Interesting. What might it mean in the sentence and context of that industry? Or maybe it’s a borrowed word from popular culture that’s a meme now, and they used it ironically. Well, I have no idea about popular culture right now, thankfully. Maybe I’ll look it up in both contexts.

Also rode the Shinkansen for the first time ever today. And oh my goodness what an absolute treat of a train ride! Riding over 500 km in less than 2 h while watching the beautiful scenery pass by and enjoying a bento box. I give it 10/10 folding tables for that experience!
I don't usually see myself as the train-#ActuallyAutistic but this might change things!

We talk about autistic 'rigidity' as though someone is refusing to change.

But if the world feels unpredictable, contradictory and unsafe - a familiar routine can be a place of refuge.

The more interesting question might be why that refuge is so badly needed.
