Do average people understand how much money a million million dollars is? $500M out of $1T is 0.05%, or 1 in 2,000. It’s like an average household spending $100. Except the average household would notice the expense. It’s imperceptible when you basically have unlimited funds.
My dude, it says right there “someone said” because I’m repeating something I found amusing. Just because you’ve seen a joke before doesn't mean someone else won’t enjoy it.

This requires a more expensive access of data from the backing store. Once the requested data is retrieved, it is typically copied into the cache, ready for the next access.”
I once worked with a guy who would greet minor setbacks by yelling out “CACHE MISS!” and anyway that one stuck with me.
