Some people would look really cute in a husky or teddy bear.

I have just learned about Decora fashion and, as someone who spent several weeks wanting to be Rainbow Brite when she was 4 and then was a teenager in the 90s, this tickles certain parts of my brain.
Also, is this a respirator? Do they make them in different animal muzzles? Do they also come with the right ears?
I can imagine wearing something like this to various places.

Reminder: RATs are not always very sensitive.
That means:

1) if the test is positive you are positive, unless you did something like drink a Fanta right before swabbing.

2) if the test is negative but you have symptoms you might be positive but the viral load might (still) be low or you've got something you haven't tested for. Either way: mask up, buttercup, and keep your germs to yourself.

That said: in that list the best RATs were only reliable for high viral loads... if someone's viral load was medium to low they were less reliable... IIRC the best RATs had a sensitivity of a bit over 50% across ALL viral loads.

edit to add: the medomics brand back then had a sensitivity of 42% across all viral loads and that's just for SARS... not for flu, metapneumovirus or RSV.

Day 5 after exposure: both unmasked contacts still negative. Will take that as a sign that infection was avoided. Relieved.

Die Schule meiner Kinder (eine ganz stinknormale Schule vom Staat organisiert) feiert jeden Schuljahresanfang einen Gottesdienst in einer christlichen Kirche.
Diesen Verfolgungskomplex, dieses Sich-danach-sehnen eine verfolgte Minderheit zu sein, könnt Ihr Euch in Euren Allerwertesten schieben.
Und: diejenigen, die dann sagen "ach ja, die und die sind ja keine *echten* Christen..." können sich wieder hinsetzen und so Sachen machen wie Kranke und Gefangene besuchen oder sich um Witwen und Waisenkinder kümmern statt sich um so einen Scheiss wie was ein Satiriker sagt zu kümmern.
