Among many things I hate in the "gig economy" is how they want you to review your person, but anything less than 5 stars is basically a vote to fire them. Because if their average rating drops below 4, they're banned. Like say my Uber driver is ... Fine. Not great, maybe they talk too much, someone left some trash in the back seat, they made a wrong turn, but they got me there in one piece, safely, and it wasn't all that bad, I'm still going to give them 5 stars. Because I don't want them fired for little annoyances like that, even if they could have been better.

Washington must do more to maintain dollar-settlement dominance

China does not need to replace the dollar to normalize non-dollar settlements. Washington must offer a faster, cheaper and more interconnected dollar system before China entrenches alternative rails.

Asking God to draw people to Christ

Today, we look at the English Nonconformist pastor Joseph Alleine, younger brother of Edward, who was also a clergyman. Joseph entreated his father that he might be educated to succeed his brother in the ministry. He married Theodosia Alleine, daughter of Richard Alleine, who declared himself on the side of the Puritans by subscribing "The testimony of the ministers in Somersetshire to the truth of Jesus Christ"
