🤖🧗 Can humanoid robots climb walls?

This week in Bordeaux, 7 teams from Taiwan, Germany, Scotland and France will have three intense days of hackathon to find out. They'll need to perceive the wall, plan hand/foot-hold contacts, and coordinate whole-body motions to pull it off.

I'll be there giving a tutorial on contact planning, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the teams come up with!

修建的念头来自里斯本宗主教 Cerejeira 枢机。1934 年 10 月，他从布宜诺斯艾利斯回国，飞机经过里约热内卢上空，看到了 Corcovado 山上的基督像。1937 年，葡萄牙主教团在四旬期联合牧函里正式提出这项工程。

二战爆发后，1940 年 4 月 20 日，主教们在 Fátima 许愿：如果葡萄牙免于战火，就在里斯本上方立一座圣心纪念像。葡萄牙在战争中保持中立，全国募款随之加紧，1941 年买下土地，1949 年奠基。据圣所记载，落成典礼约有 30 万人到场。
