Today in the classroom:

We have a half day today to allow for another round of conferences from 11:30 - 7:30 this afternoon/evening, so it's only chemistry this morning.

First year chem is starting to explore the periodic table as a structure. They'll use some guided questions to work through www.ptable.com and start identifying things like element families, metal/metalloid/nonmetals, and some electron structure big ideas.
